ALN Series

Ohmite has the solution for high wattage surface mount chips. The ALN series thick film chips offer 3.5 watts of power dissipation in a 2512 package size. This is accomplished with  the use of an Aluminum Nitride substrate. Aluminum Nitride (AlNi) dissipates heat far more efficiently than standard Alumina or Ceramic substrates. Ohmite has engineered a thick film printing process to apply a resistive ink to the AlNi substrate creating a optimal chip for high power. Temperature coefficients are down to 150 ppm providing a chip with great stability.

PCS Series

Available in three sizes (1206, 2512, and 2728) the PCS Series offers low resistance values to 0.50mΩ. This product provides users with high precision current sensing and voltage division. It also offers low TCR to ±50ppm, excellent long-term stability, and RoHS compliance.

FK/GK Series

RoHS Compliant Metal Element Kelvin Resistor

Ohmite’s FK/GK Series is a low-resistance, 4-terminal element resistor with a power rating up to 5W. This product offers excellent long-term stability and is ideal for mounting on DCB/IMS substrates. Ohmite recommends the FK/GK Series for the following applications: frequency converters, power modules, automatic control power supply, current sensors for power hybrid applications, and high current applications for the automotive market.

NRCW Series – High Power Chip Resistors

NIC Components is pleased to announce the addition of higher power rated thick film chip resistors with NRCW series. Increased power ratings, up to two time standard version ratings,
are offered in 0603 ( 1/8W), 0805 ( 1/4W), 1206 (1/2W), 2010 (1W) and 2512 (2W) case sizes. NRCW series covers resistance value range of 1.0 Ω to 1 Meg‐Ω in ±1% (F) and ±5% (J) tolerances, in E24 & E96 resistance values.

Stable TCR of 100PPM/°C, over an operating temperature range of ‐55°C ~ +155°C (with power derating above +70°C), and voltage ratings from 50V to 300V.

An upgrade from standard power rated version thick film chip resistors (NRC series), the NRCW series is ideal for use in wide range of higher power applications, including fixed, portable, handheld and space‐saving device applications.

NCSR/NCST Series – Current Sensing Chip Resistors

Low ohmic, precision current sensing resistors. NCSR series uses temperature stable precision conductor construction, NCST uses low cost thick film construction. Supplied on tape and reel for automatic pick and placement. Precision resistance values from 0.5 milliohm (0.0005 ohm) to 1000 milli-ohm (1.0 ohm) are available in tolerances from +/-1% (F) ~ +/-5% (J). TCRs (resistance temperature coefficients) cover range from +/-50PPM/°C ~ +/-600PPM/°C. Industry standard case sizes from 0402 ~ 2512 with power ratings of 0.050W (1/2W) to 3.0W. Wrap around terminations with nickel barrier and tin finish are compatible with tin-lead and lead-free soldering processes.
