CE Series – Rotary Encoders

The CE Series family of rotary encoders offers 11mm and 12mm size packages. Both models are available with and without bushing, horizontal and vertical mount styles selected resolutions, detent options, and a momentary push switch option. Rotational life of 30,000 cycles and a wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C provides durability and reliability in many applications. Shaft length and trim options are available. In addition, Series 12CE offers backlit illuminated shafts for those applications requiring an illuminated control in dim or dark spaces. LEDs are available in single, dual, and three-color options in a variety of colors.

H25 Series – Incremental Encoder

The H25 is the flagship of the BEI Sensors product line. It was designed from the ground up for the industrial marketplace. The H25 offers features such as EMI shielding, high precision ball bearings and matched thermal coefficients on critical components. The encoder meets up to IP66 sealing requirements when ordered with the shaft seal.

DST5H Series – SIL3 PLe Incremental Encoders

When an automation system requires a high degree of risk mitigation of failure modes, often times Functional Safety equipment can be a part of the solution. Sensata | BEI Sensors offers a wide range of Functional Safety encoders to fit most any application or electrical interface requirement. Rated at SIL3 (PLe), these encoders allow safe operation in set-up, production and maintenance modes, significantly reducing operational risks. All encoders have the option of a Digital HTL or TTL operation as an alternative to the Sine/Cosine outputs found on most Functional Safety encoders. This makes them a compatible replacement for existing encoders when migrating to a higher safety level of operation. The DST5H series incorporates a hollow shaft-style mounting that can accept shafts up to 14 mm in diameter. It is mounted with a stator coupling kit and a clamp to secure it to the shaft. The encoder body is 58mm in diameter.
