NPIS_L/NPIS_LS/NPIS_LP Series – Shielded Low Profile Power Inductors

Three product series are included within the NPIS_L_ family of low profile shielded power inductors. NPIS_L_ family utilizes automated component assembly processing resulting in ultra-small low profile case sizes with improved quality and higher current ratings than conventional construction power inductors in the same size. Noise reduction is improved by use of resin shielding material, making these power inductors the ideal choice for today’s improved efficient DC-DC converters.

    • Twenty three (23) case sizes ranging from 2mm x 1.6mm to 8.0mm x 8.0mm (LxW) with component heights ranging from 1.0mm to 4.5mm
    • Inductance values range from 0.16uH ~ 330uH in ±20% (M) or ±30% (Y) inductance tolerances
    • Isat up to 11A (NPIS_L), 7.8A (NPI_LP) and 13.8A (NPIS_LS)
    • NPI_LP features lower DCR (up to 30% lower)
    • -40°C ~ +125°C including self-heating (+40°C) temperature rise (+120°C limit for NPIS_L)

Highly dependable Triad common mode EMI suppression inductors are used in various types of power supplies to eliminate noise common to all lines. These units also provide effective differential mode filtering. Meeting VDE, IEC, UL and CSA requirements, they minimize AC line transmitted interference often created by high frequency switching power supplies.

Miniature, Low Profile, Shielded Surface Mount Inductors

The HA66 series is a low profile, low loss, ferrite-based inductor designed with a wide range of inductances and package sizes. It is very compact, magnetically shielded, and has low DC resistance and high saturation current. This part is able to meet an operating temperature of 155°C. It is suited for high power density applications where size is critical. This series is ideal for high efficiency DC-DC converters using high switching frequencies to 3MHz as well as EMI and low pass DC filter. This part is AEC-Q200 certified, assuring performance and reliability levels that automotive applications and high reliability industrial applications demand.

ECS-MPI4040 Automotive-Grade Inductors

The ECS-MPI4040 miniature AEC-Q200, Grade 1 qualified power inductors. The 4.7 x 4.06 mm footprint is ideal for today’s SMD manufacturing environment with height options from 1.2 mm to 2.0 mm.  The MPI4040 series handles high transient inrush current spikes ideal for automotive environments and have a frequency range of 20 KHz to 10 MHz and inductance range from 0.09 µH to 22 µH with a current range from 1.1 A to 32.0 A.

ECS-MPI2520 Miniature Power Inductors

The ECS-MPI2520 high current, low profile, miniature power inductors with a 2.5 mm x 2.0 mm footprint is ideal for industrial, infotainment and consumer electronics where size is critical. It has height options of 1.0 mm (R0 option) or 1.2 mm (R1 option) with an inductance range from 0.09 µH ~ 22 µH with a current range of 1.8 A to 32 A.
