Connect your USB Device to a Wired Ethernet Network without an Internet Card Installed
This USB-to-Ethernet adapter allows you to instantly connect your computer, laptop, tablet, or other USB-compatible device to a wired 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network, even if your device has no NIC (Network Interface Controller) installed. The adapter is a more convenient, less expensive way to go online than opening your device and installing an internal Ethernet card.
Plug-and-Play with No Power Supply Needed
This USB 2.0 Ethernet adapter offers access to an Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Just connect the built-in USB cable to your device’s USB port (which also powers the adapter), and wait for the installation process to finish (you may have to reboot your computer). Then, connect the RJ45 port to a LAN port using a Cat5e/6 network cable (such as Tripp Lite’s N201-Series Cat6 UTP patch cable, sold separately). The adapter works with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. It is backward-compatible with USB 1.1 devices.
Delivers Full Ethernet Performance
The compact USB to Ethernet adapter supports full 10/100 Mbps network speeds and USB 2.0 speeds, allowing you to transfer data quickly and stream audio and video. It’s compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, and 802.3az standards. It supports full duplex with IEEE 802.3x flow control and half duplex with backpressure flow control. LEDs indicate successful data transfers.
Applications
- Upload data from your notebook or download data from the Ethernet at true 10/100 Mbps speeds
- Replace a malfunctioning RJ45 port or Ethernet card on your laptop or PC

These port-powered, two-channel converters change TD and RD RS-232 lines to balanced RS-422 signals extending communication distances up to 1.2 km (4000 ft). With port powering, a power supply is not required. Power comes from the DTR and RTS RS-232 handshake control lines. At least one handshake line must be present, in either the positive or negative voltage state. This permits use in applications without worrying about software control of the handshake lines.

AirborneM2M enterprise wireless bridges and access routers are built for networking equipment in a wide array of machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. The compact form factor, integrated options, and ease of use make it ideal for commercial enterprise environments. Dual-Band Wi-Fi – These AirborneM2M products establish wireless connections over both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands. Whenever the 2.4 GHz airspace is overcrowded with competing wireless transmissions, AirborneM2M products can be switched over to the 5 GHz band to keep data flowing. Enterprise-Class Security – Security protocols are important to mission-critical wireless M2M applications. The AirborneM2M multilayered security approach addresses the requirements of Enterprise-class networks and corporate IT departments. These advanced security features include wireless security (801.11i/WPA2 Enterprise), network security (EAP authentication and certificate support), communication security (SSH functionality and fully encrypted data tunnels), and device security (multilevel encryption capability to protect configuration data). A 5 VDC external power source is required.

The EKI-2525/2528 supports a fast Ethernet solution. The power is a 12 ~ 48 VDC redundant input design and is secured with a double-protection mechanism: Power Polarity Reverse Protect and an Overload Current Resetable Fuse. The former tolerates reverse power wiring while the latter secures the system from overload currents. As the power supply turns normal, EKI-2525/2528 will automatically get back to work. Each port of EKI-2525/2528 has two LEDs to show the link status transmission speed and collision status. It also provides a relay output for an event alarm. In the event of a power failure, the built-in LED will activate the alarm to notify administrators. Engineers can simply verify the hardware status by checking the LED, and have troubleshooting easy and quick. EKI-2525/2528 comes with a compact metal housing that rates IP30 to help against dusty industrial environments.
