Shizuki began making capacitors in 1939 and ASC (Goodall Electric) in 1943. With a combined year total of 147 years of experience that ranged from low-voltage DC (50) to high-voltage AC (26,000). Shizuki was one of the pioneers in metallized film, and ASC (TRW) was a leader in the development of metallized polyester film capacitors.
Technology is at the forefront of Shizuki with three new R&D facilities focused on getting more out of what is available as well as new product development. Today’s product lineup includes but is not limited to Power Quality Systems, DC Link, AC Filter, Harmonic Filter, Home Appliance, Automotive, traditional through-hole type capacitors, and capacitors for Rail systems. Factories are located in the United States, Japan, and Thailand.
