Bud’s PN-series Plastic NEMA 4X enclosures are available in 25 sizes in three styles. The lower-cost option—our ABS plastic—is made for indoor use and is molded dark gray in color. The Polycarbonate versions are available with a clear or opaque lid and can be utilized outside. This is a screw-down enclosure. The sizes range from 2.05” x 1.97” x 1.38” to 14.17” x 7.87” x 5.91”. The Clear lid option (“-C”) is great for any application that uses a display, meter, or lights and you do not want to drill into the box to keep the seal. Its lightweight design makes it great for applications that have to be moved around or Wi-Fi connectivity.

Bud Industries can modify your enclosure for you. It can be as basic as cutting holes or slots in the box in as little as five days to doing a complete custom design. Bud has the capability for powder coating, machining, welding, custom forming, or digital printing directly on the box. Reach out to Hughes-Peters to help you partner with Bud to streamline your supply chain and have the enclosures modified by professionals who understand the material.
Bud Industries has added to our custom and modification capabilities and has invested in Digital Printing for our enclosures. Following the modification of our products we can assist with the labeling or branding (i.e. Logos) to complete the design. This process is more cost effective than typical silk screening though we still will have silk screening abilities. Since the ink is UV cured, it is better suited for UV exposure.
This newer technology will allow for more colors to be utilized in logos or other multicolor graphics where silk screening can be limiting. The image is created using a similar technology to that of a regular printer that will mix colors. It will also allow us to match the colors much more closely. Digital Printing will be able to hold better tolerance in size of print and font. Digital Printed letters are typically legible at around 6pt font whereas silk screening is not legible until 9pt font.

Proportional valves from Deltrol Controls allow the flow rate of fluid passing through the valves to be adjusted anywhere between fully off to fully on. To accomplish this, the power to the solenoid coil is adjusted via PWM control to open the valve more or less. Devices such as flowmeters, thermistors, or pressure sensors are commonly used to provide the feedback necessary to determine the power input to the solenoid coil to achieve the desired output.
