Bud Industries can modify your enclosure for you. It can be as basic as cutting holes or slots in the box in as little as five days to doing a complete custom design. Bud has the capability for powder coating, machining, welding, custom forming, or digital printing directly on the box. Reach out to Hughes-Peters to help you partner with Bud to streamline your supply chain and have the enclosures modified by professionals who understand the material.
Bud Industries has added to our custom and modification capabilities and has invested in Digital Printing for our enclosures. Following the modification of our products we can assist with the labeling or branding (i.e. Logos) to complete the design. This process is more cost effective than typical silk screening though we still will have silk screening abilities. Since the ink is UV cured, it is better suited for UV exposure.
This newer technology will allow for more colors to be utilized in logos or other multicolor graphics where silk screening can be limiting. The image is created using a similar technology to that of a regular printer that will mix colors. It will also allow us to match the colors much more closely. Digital Printing will be able to hold better tolerance in size of print and font. Digital Printed letters are typically legible at around 6pt font whereas silk screening is not legible until 9pt font.

Bud’s AN-2850 Aluminum NEMA Die Cast series has a molded external bracket and premolded continuous silicon gasket. It meets NEMA 6 (natural finish) and NEMA 6 (powder-coated version) for temporary submersion along with NEMA 4x protection. These are easily machined for any application and attach the cover to the base with stainless steel screws. This series includes 14 sizes and can be used for various applications such as transportation, military applications, and to house the electronics in conveyors.

Proportional valves from Deltrol Controls allow the flow rate of fluid passing through the valves to be adjusted anywhere between fully off to fully on. To accomplish this, the power to the solenoid coil is adjusted via PWM control to open the valve more or less. Devices such as flowmeters, thermistors, or pressure sensors are commonly used to provide the feedback necessary to determine the power input to the solenoid coil to achieve the desired output.

The DSV28N series solenoid valves from Deltrol Controls are miniature two-way solenoid valves used to control the flow of liquids and inert gases up to 120 psi. They are designed with materials appropriate for potable water, water, and gaseous applications. Configuration options include, normally open and normally closed, push to connect, barb, panel mount, and compression inlet/outlet fittings.

Deltrol Controls Liquid Dispensing Valves are used to dispense water in beverage equipment, ice-making equipment, and floor scrubber equipment. Most of these valves are designed to dispense gravity-fed (up to 3 psi) water or similar media from a tank. Our High Pressure (HP) versions of these valves are pilot-operated options that can handle up to 30 psi. Also called dump valves, diaphragm valves, outlet valves, & boiler valves. Multiple inlet/outlet and bracket options available.
