Polymer Capacitors

KEMET is the market leader in polymer capacitor technology. Our organic capacitors are solid electrolytic devices with a conductive polymer cathode, capable of delivering optimized performance in a broad range of applications. Combining very low ESR and improved capacitance retention at high frequencies, with a broad dimensional offering, KEMET’s portfolio supports designers through innovation and technology.

Pulse Transformers

Pulse transformers are specially designed, common mode chokes that filter out any common mode EMI currents coming from the power line communication’s power transformer or the analog front-end of the modem. With support for up to 264 VAC and low insertion loss starting at 1 MHz, pulse transformers are an effective solution to pass EMI regulatory compliance, while allowing the desired signals to pass unaffected.

Supercapacitors

KEMET offers a large range of supercapacitors in surface-mount and radial construction with high-performance capabilities. Supercapacitors have characteristics that are common to both batteries and traditional capacitors. As a result, a supercapacitor can be used as a secondary battery when applied to a DC circuit. These devices are best suited for use in low voltage, DC hold-up applications such as embedded microprocessor systems with flash memory.

Tantalum Capacitors

KEMET’s broad MnO2 portfolio supports segment designers in telecommunications, industrial, automotive, military, and drilling applications where space limitations, voltage requirements, life performance, and maximum operational temperature requirements are a concern.

ADR Series

A new standard for DIN rail-mounting hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers. The Heinemann ADR series is the evident choice for manufacturers willing to integrate their design with hydraulic-magnetic technology without additional redesign effort. In addition to all the advantages of hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers such as precise, stable, and reliable protection against overload or short-circuits, ADR provides the same Fit and Form as standard MCB: a great advantage for simplifying refurbishment or technology upgrade.

C Series

The C Series is popular in outdoor locations, in either high-temperature or low-temperature environments where nuisance tripping might have been a problem in the past. The C Series is built for a wide range of applications and is one of the most versatile designs. From heating and air conditioning to modern railcars, the C Series breaker is built for the most demanding industrial applications.

Features

  • Environmental, Vibration, and Shock Resistant: Mil-spec qualification for fungus resistance, humidity, salt spray resistance, and shock vibration resistance.
  • Heat-Induced Nuisance Tripping Eliminated: The protector is designed to “hold in” at 100% continuous rated current, regardless of ambient temperatures from -40°C +85°C.
  • Immediate Reset After Trip: The protector can be reset (closed) immediately after an overcurrent trip without a “cooling off” period.
  • 1/2 Cycle High Inrush Tolerance – 8X (standard) and 25x: The protector is available with different levels of tolerance to 1/2 cycle current spikes. Standard tolerance is 8X the continuous current rating; in addition, 25X is also available.
  • Overcurrent Curves, Long, Medium, or Short Delay: Time characteristic curves are available as Short, Medium, and Long Delay.

GH Series

The GH Series breaker offers the benefits of hydraulic-magnetic protection in a compact, economical design. Because of their ability to furnish both close-rated locked rotor protection and running overcurrent protection without derating in extreme and highly variable ambient conditions, they are popular in a variety of industries — air conditioning, electric heating, computer main frame and central processing, transportation, and many others.

Features

  • Fungus and Humidity Resistance: Provided in accordance with MIL-STD-202 by treating all ferrous parts with a special moisture-resistant finish and using special springs and fungus-resistant cases, covers, and handles.
  • Shock: Tested in accordance with MIL-STD-202, Method 213, Test Condition I (100G’s at 6 milliseconds).
  • Vibration: Tested in accordance with MIL-STD-202, Method 204, 10 to 500 Hz, 0.06-inch total excursion on three mutually perpendicular planes. Shock and vibration tests apply to time delay breakers only and are performed with units carrying full rated current.

BAB Bolt-On Miniature Circuit Breakers

Eaton’s bolt-on miniature circuit breakers (Quicklag) provide superior protection in panel boards and offer easy installation. They are also switching duty rated for 120 VAC fluorescent light applications, and UL 489 listed. All products 15–100A are HACR rated.  Select from one-, two-, or three-pole designs.

1600/2600 Series

1600/2600 Series rockers offer a wide circuit in standard or custom colors for illuminated and nonilluminated versions. Custom legends are available on the switch lever and bezel. The 1600H/2600H High Inrush option is designed to handle high inrush currents up to 100A peak inrush for 10 milliseconds. The Splashguard option features a unique moisture- and water-resistant seal, making it ideally suited for marine, RV, and food processing applications.

X Series Rockers

These sleek-style rockers are molded in a unique smooth matte finish. The bezel is also unique with a more modern rounded-rectangular design with an oval-shaped rocker. X Series Rockers are available in single- and double-pole with various circuit options, LED illumination, and laser etching with standard terminal choices including 0.250 spade, screw, and solder.

Features

  • Seal Standard IP56 Sealing per IES 60529.
  • Available in four LED voltages including 14 Vdc, 28 Vdc, 125 Vac, and 277 Vac.
  • Frames are nylon, and actuators are nylon with glass fiber, with both meeting UL flame: 94HB. Terminals are silver-plated brass.
  • Easy snap-in mounting with a plastic bezel.
  • Eaton part number etched on switch for easy inventory management.
