Shizuki began making capacitors in 1939 and ASC (Goodall Electric) in 1943. With a combined year total of 147 years of experience that ranged from low voltage DC (50) to high voltage AC (26,000). Shizuki was one of the pioneers in metallized film, and ASC (TRW) was a leader in the development of metallized polyester film capacitors.
