E-Beam Welded Shunt Resistor

EBW8518 is a busbar-mounted shunt resistor for high current measurements in the hundreds of amps range. This product is an electron beam welded resistance element sandwiched between large copper terminals with optional tin plating. A variety of voltage sense terminal styles may be made available as custom options. Precision applications can make use of the 1% tolerance, 100ppm/°C TCR, 1μV/°C thermal EMF and separate ground pins to reduce errors.
