LED drivers are an essential element of any LED lighting project or installation. The issue is that LED lighting is vulnerable to thermal runaway. As ambient temperatures increase, the amount of forward voltage (the volts required by the light-emitting diode to conduct electricity and light up) decreases and the LEDs will draw more current, heating up until they burn out.
To solve this problem, the LED driver is a self-contained power supply that regulates its output current to match what is needed by the LED lights, thereby keeping the current constant and avoiding thermal runaway.

Delta Environmental Proof Fans: In an outdoor environment, a spray of water, exposure to dust particles, unexpected corrosion, and high humidity will all cause the electrical device to work improperly. Delta’s environment-proof fans are designed to use a potting method to seal the PWB to isolate the outside environment. Bypassing the most common standards validation (IP and Bellcore), Delta’s environment-proof fan can withstand outdoor environments or similar conditions.
The IP Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection against the intrusion of solid objects, such as hands and fingers, as well as dust, accidental contact, and moisture or water.

Rated at IP54 and UL (NEMA) Type12, Delta HEF500 / HEF160 / HEF070 Series Industrial Filter Fans set a new bar in quality and system care. Deployable in industrial applications requiring filtered air delivery, Delta HEF Series Fans deploy a high-efficiency filter with a mat quality class of G3/G4. To avoid lengthy maintenance cycles, the filters feature a high dust retention capacity and simple toolless replacement requiring only a single-finger latch system to access the filter for inspection and replacement. Delta Pulse-Width Modulation PWM fans offer a full lineup of speed control. PWM fans have advanced cooling solutions, that deliver the best performance and greater efficiency. PWM regulates the voltage signal between fully on and fully off, controlling the speed of a fan. The PWM function is commonly used in OEM cases. Delta also provides standard PWM through distribution channels.
