The CS40-01P60-05-3X is a 40 x 13 x 4mm Mobile Speaker. While this speaker may be larger than the other mobile speakers Challenge Electronics has to offer, it still rivals the performance of its large alternative form factor counterparts at a fraction of the size. Captive screws are a type of screw typically used in PC boards and equipment panel assemblies where mounting hardware is subject to loss. Identifiable by the unthreaded shank with a threaded end, captive screws are often combined with washers, springs, and retainers depending on their intended function, to create a self-captivating assembly. They are especially useful for fastening applications where thermal conductivity, vibration, shock, and thermal expansion are a factor, or where panels must be removed/reinstalled on the fly with speed and efficiency. Precision-machined captive screws are often found in military, medical, electronic, and industrial applications where tight tolerances and high quality and reliability are a factor.
RAF captive screws are available in six different styles in both American and Metric dimensions. In addition to standard models, variations can be chosen such as slotted, unslotted, or hex heads, washers for oval head styles, and retainer spring and washer sets. RAF offers 7 swaged retainer types to match all captive screw sizes. Captive screws are available in lengths ranging from 21/32″ to 2″ and with threads from 2/56 to 3/8-16. Locking post assemblies and screw lock assemblies are primarily used to secure D-type cable connectors in computers and other electronic equipment together. They come as a complete set including two flat washers, one lock washer, and one nut. They meet all the important industry specifications and can be customized for your application.

Ohmite has the solution for high-wattage surface mount chips. The ALN series thick film chips offer 3.5 watts of power dissipation in a 2512 package size. This is accomplished with the use of an Aluminum Nitride substrate. Aluminum Nitride (AlNi) dissipates heat far more efficiently than standard Alumina or Ceramic substrates. Ohmite has engineered a thick film printing process to apply a resistive ink to the AlNi substrate creating an optimal chip for high power. Temperature coefficients are down to 150 ppm providing a chip with great stability.
