IEC Contactors (YC1U Series)

IDEC now offers a new series of IEC-style contactors and starters, YC Contactors. These contactors feature weld-resistant silver alloy contacts, giving them a higher level of reliability and an extra-long life. Contacts are also cadmium free for environmental safety.

YC overloads feature bimetallic thermal overload relays directly mounted to the contactor. Plus a full range of accessories are available for this series including top and side mounting auxiliary contact blocks, coil surge suppressors, timers, and more. A mechanical interlock accessory can be used when using two contactors to reverse a motor, to prevent both sets of contacts closing at the same time.

Key Features

  • 35mm DIN rail or direct panel mounting
  • Switching current 5A-300A
  • Models available to switch from 1/3HP up to 200HP motors
  • Auxiliary contacts available
  • 50/60Hz AC coil and DC coil models available
  • Silver alloy, cadmium-free, long-life contacts
  • Bimetallic thermal overload relays
  • Meets IEC, UL, c-UL, and other international standards
  • CE marked

Circuit Breakers (NRA Series)

The NRA series of circuit breakers offer the ultimate in flexibility. Different actuator styles allow for differentiation of look and feel. Various delay characteristics and current ratings satisfy applications from logic-level protection of PLCs, sensors, or other low-current devices up to medium-sized motors and heaters. Most units can be through-panel mounted or plugged into DIN rail sockets. Standard termination is via .250″ quick-connect terminals, sockets use M3.5 screw terminals.

Key Features

  • Available in 3 different actuator styles
  • Current ratings up to 30A at 250VAC or 65VDC
  • 1-, 2-, or 3-pole models
  • Optional DIN rail or surface mount sockets
  • Variety of delay-tripping curves
  • Optional “inertia delay” to prevent nuisance tripping on motor or transformer loads
  • Optional alarm contacts or auxiliary contacts
  • Reliable to over 10,000 operations
  • UL recognized, CSA certified, VDE

Digital Temperature Indicators

Littelfuse digital temperature indicators are easily integrated, eliminating the need for an analog-to-digital conversion.  When temperature increases above a specific value, these devices increase exponentially from a low to a very high resistance. The digital temperature indicators are ideal for systems that value size, accuracy, and simplicity.

Thermistor Probes and Assemblies

Thermistor probes and assemblies are invaluable for sensing temperature in a variety of industries ranging from HVAC/R and environmental controls to automotive and white goods. Littelfuse standard and customized probes and assemblies offer very precise and extremely reliable thermal monitoring in the most demanding applications.

Surface-Mount Thermistors

Littelfuse surface mount thermistors are manufactured using the most advanced equipment and technology available. Designed for measuring, controlling, and compensating for temperature with the utmost accuracy, they are available in a variety of sizes and configurations suitable for mounting using solder, wire bond, or epoxy.

Leaded Thermistors

Littelfuse leaded thermistor options include the highly accurate precision interchangeable thermistors, as well as high-temperature axial leaded glass encapsulated thermistors and glass-coated radial leaded chip thermistors. A wide variety of resistance values and tolerances are available.

Custom Magnetic Sensors and Reed Switches

We have a wide array of sensor output options such as reed and Hall effect digital output, single- and multipoint reed ladder fluid level measurement, ratio-metric output for rotary angle and linear measurement using Hall effect devices, and speed and direction sensing.

Reed Relays

A reed relay combines a reed switch with a coil into one package to serve as a smaller, more power-efficient alternative to other types of relays.  These relays are well suited for use in automated test equipment, security, medical, and process control equipment. Options for customization are available.

Reed Switches

Littelfuse offers the widest selection of magnetically operated reed switches.  Reed switches are available in bare glass or overmolded packages with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and magnetic characteristics. Options for customization, such as lead cutting and forming, are available.

Automotive Qualified MOSFETs

These MOSFET devices have been extensively tested and approved for the rigorous automotive applications.
