Counters

A counter can be used to count several actions or events. It thus participates in production management and preventive maintenance. A ratemeter can be used to display the speed of rotation of a motor in real time.

Key Features

  • For fast count applications, a high-speed counting frequency: up to 50 kHz
  • A two-color or backlit LCD dual display for ease of reading
  • Considerable space saving due to dual-function electromechanical and electronic ranges
  • A complete output operating logic to cover complex applications
  • Easier maintenance thanks to removable connectors (CTR48)
  • An enhanced multifunction electronic range for optimized stocks

Applications

  • Up counting, Down counting
    • For up counting or down counting several parts, events, a running time, the counter is the ideal solution. There are different types of counters with the following functions:
      • Up/down counter, batch counter, ratemeter, chronometer, multi-totalizer, elapsed time counter, and impulse counter
  • Informing, Displaying
    • A counter can allow a user to be informed and to display data and quantities easily. The data displayed can be read directly on the front panel.
  • Triggering, Actuating
    • A counter can be used to trigger an action or an intervention on a machine. The outputs actuate directly and/or transmit data to the control system.
  • Measuring, Chronometer timing
    • A counter can be used to schedule preventive maintenance. The machine running time is measured and the duration of an action timed with a chronometer.

Liquid Level Monitoring Relays

Crouzet’s liquid level monitoring relays include single function and multi-function monitoring relays. They can be used for overflow and dry-running protection, for filling and draining applications, for max and min alarm, or any combination of such functions.

To properly respond to the requirements of level control, the level control range offers relays that monitor by measuring liquid resistivity and enable adjustment of measurement sensitivity to precisely set closing and tripping levels. In addition, a selectable time delay takes wave effect into account, avoiding unwanted closing and tripping due to movements of liquid.

Key Features

  • Automation of filling and emptying cycles
  • High- or low-level control
  • Check for presence of a conductive or non-conductive liquid by temperature probe or discrete sensor
  • Adjustable time delay
  • Several functions in the same housing optimizes wiring time and simplifies install
  • Easy-to-use thanks to its visual LED interface
  • New-generation built-in multi-voltage power supply simplifies product selection
  • Recognized quality and reliability

Applications

  • Agricultural Applications
    • Watering
    • Irrigation
    • Drying
    • Distribution and treatment of water
  • Mange and protect any equipment by controlling emptying and filling levels

Timers

Crouzet, The Global Leader in Timers – Has One For Any Of Your Needs.

A timer is a simple automation component which is used to manage actions over a period of time or control how long actions last. The timer is a control device which triggers an action according to a time and a function. After a predefined time has elapsed, the timer closes or opens one or more contacts.

Timing cycles, whether single shot or repetitive, are started by latching inputs or pulsed inputs, allowing a wide variety of functions to be created.

Key Features

  • Mounting options: DIN rail mount, panel mount, plug-in (8 and 11 pin)
  • All the most popular functions
    • On-delay, off-delay, repeat cycle and many more
  • Analog and digital versions
  • Standard, high power and double output versions
  • DesignLab for custom adaptations

Applications

  • Heating/Cooling
  • Food and Beverage
  • Energy
  • Pumps
  • Machinery

Millenium EVO

Crouzet enhances its automation product offering with the launch of the new Millenium EVO – the communicating logic controller for all small-scale automation projects. With its 4 ways of communication: Ethernet, Modbus, USB and Bluetooth, EVO can be controlled and programed from a distance, continuously monitor applications, and interact with other devices.

The EVO can control from a distance and in real time, by accessing its front control face from a PC, laptop, or mobile device. The parameters can be changed with the Crouzet Virtual Display app, eliminating the added cost of an HMI. Programs can be edited with the EVO even when already installed in an application, without the need to remove it or disconnect a single cable.

Monitor applications and receive periodic datalogs to measure and record key parameters of installations, as well as program regular email notifications for updates and alarms. Users can also interact with other devices such as HMIs, drives, and other controllers via Modbus and ethernet, as the EVO can act as a slave inside a network.
