DCNLJ Series – High-Voltage DC Contactors

The DCNLJ Series Max High-Current High-Voltage DC Contactor Relay is designed for high-current contact switching in electric control systems of communication power supplies and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) as well as other industrial and vehicle applications.

This normally open relay comes in a variety of configurations to suit your application requirements. Polarized models with main contacts rated for 96V (110V max) and nonpolarized models with main contacts rated for 48V (60V max) are available with a continuous current rating of 125A, 200A, or 250A.

Available coil options for the DCNLJ contactor relay vary depending on the model’s continuous current rating and include 12V, 24V, 48V, and 60V.

DCNHR Series – High-Voltage DC Contactors

The DCNHR Series 450V High-Current High-Voltage DC Contactor Relay is a normally open (also known as monostable) relay with a resin body for corrosion resistance in harsh automotive environments. Versions are available with a pulse width modulation (PWM) coil to reduce power for keeping the contacts closed. Sealed contacts help ensure there is no leakage of electrical arc for safety. The high-current relay’s permanent magnets blow out the magnetic field horizontally to achieve a rapid extinguishing of the DC arc.

The DCNHR Series contactor relay is available for 20A to 300A contact switching as well as with and without polarized contacts to suit the polarity of your application.

75920 Series – Manual Battery Disconnect Switches

Keep service personnel safe and protect the battery and electrical systems in your emergency vehicle, tractor, heavy-duty truck, or boat with the 75920 Series 36V Master Battery Disconnect Switch.

The heavy-duty battery disconnect switch ensures the safety of service professionals by disconnecting the battery from the vehicle’s electrical system, safeguards against battery drain from parasitic loads, and features built-in lock-out/tag-out for tampering and theft prevention.

As an IPX8-rated waterproof battery disconnect switch, it is ideal for a wide range of vehicles, including construction equipment, heavy-duty trucks, boats, and vehicles operating in harsh conditions, such as snowplows and snow removal equipment. Fitting a standard master disconnect mounting pattern, the 75920 series can be used as a drop-in replacement.

TR Series – Manual Battery Disconnect Switches

Cut all battery power to vehicle electrical systems with the TR Series 32V 500A Two-Pole Waterproof Master Battery Disconnect Switch. The dual-pole, single-throw (DPST) switch works in heavy-duty trucks, construction, emergency vehicles, bus and transit, military, and agricultural applications requiring the switching of two circuits or both positive and negative.

You can feel confident mounting the master battery disconnect switch in exposed locations thanks to its IP67 and IPX9K waterproof and dustproof ratings as well as its high shock and vibration tolerance.

The dual battery disconnect switch can be used to disconnect one or two batteries in either the positive or negative line, and it can be used to switch two vehicle voltage circuits simultaneously (24V and 12V).

LAS Series – Manual Battery Disconnect Switches

Ideal for low-amp, low-voltage applications in off-road and construction vehicles and agricultural and marine equipment, the LAS Series 24V Compact SPST Manual Battery Disconnect Switch is available with M8 studs and a 100A continuous current rating or M10 studs and a 150A continuous current rating.

This battery disconnect switch features a compact design with pass-through mounting for installation where space is limited.

The removable red handle is easy to see and helps ensure safe operation of the compact battery switch by authorized personnel. Select models come with a rubber cap that provides protection when the actuator is removed.

1554 Series

The 1554 series comes molded in ABS or polycarbonate plastic and provides watertight protection for boards and other small electronic devices.

Features

  • Ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail-mounted components.
  • ABS Versions are molded from general-purpose materials that carry a flammability rating of UL94-HB. For indoor use.
  • Polycarbonate versions are UV-stabilized for outdoor use.  Gray polycarb carries a UL94-5VA rating, while clear and smoked lids carry a UL94V-0 rating.
  • Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed (File # E65324).  ABS plastic versions are not UL-listed.
  • Enclosure color is a light gray (RAL 7035).
  • Gasketed lid with two-piece “tongue & groove” construction prevents access from oil, dust, and water.
  • Replaceable gasket is one piece made from high-temperature, UL-listed silicone. Supplied loose inside the enclosure (not preinstalled).
  • Polycarbonate versions are designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13 ratings which meet and exceed IP ratings up to and including IP68. (Except 1554/55 V size, which is 4,4X only)
  • ABS Plastic versions are designed to meet IP66.
  • Lid is secured with included M4 stainless steel machine screws which are threaded into corrosion-resistant bushings for repetitive assembly & disassembly. All hardware is designed to avoid corrosion caused by harsh environments over time.
  • Lid screws are self-captivating (lid holes are threaded with the first installation of lid screws).
  • Internal features are maximized for mounting options and vary with size:
    • Internal DIN rail mounting tabs molded into most models, except sizes “C” and “D.”
    • Threaded (M3) integral brass inserts and/or standoffs (#6 self-tapping screws) for PC board or inner panel mounting in all but the smallest size (“B”).
    • Vertical PC card guides (for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards) are molded in all but the smallest size (“B”).

1556 Series

1556 series ABS plastic enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards, IoT equipment, and other small electronics.

Features

  • Can be used in a tabletop configuration using rubber feet (included) or two different wall mount configurations using a wall mount foot kit (sold separately).
  • Rounded corners and faces provide a more modern look.
  • Lap joint construction prevents access from dust and splashing water.
  • Available in black, gray, or white flame-retardant ABS plastic with a light satin texture.
  • Molded from flame-retardant material which carries a flammability rating of UL94 V-0.  For indoor use.
  • Designed to meet IP54.
  • Lid hardware and 4x rubber feet included with enclosure. Lid is secured with high-strength #6 x 1/2″ self-tapping Plastite screws.
  • Aluminum inner panels are available as accessories.  Sold separately.
  • Multiple mounting locations inside the lid and base of the enclosure allow for easy PCB mounting or can be used with Hammond aluminum panels (sold separately).
  • Accessories include aluminum inner panels and four-packs of mounting feet which can be used for flange mounting or keyhole mounting.

1590 Series

1590 series rugged, die-cast aluminum electronic instrument enclosures are tough yet easy to machine and ideal for stomp pedals and other small electronic devices.

Features

  • Lap joint construction protects access from dust and splashing water as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding.
  • Unpainted version is vibra-finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
  • Textured black version is coated with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance.
  • Includes screws threaded into factory-tapped holes.
  • Standard versions are designed to meet IP54.
  • Water-tight versions are designed to meet IP65 and include a gasket.  Gasket is supplied loose inside the enclosure (not preinstalled).
  • Low-side wall draft angle (two degrees or less) for easy PCB mounting.

1590ZGRP Series

The 1590ZGRP series consists of tough, fiberglass-reinforced polyester enclosures ideal for housing electronic equipment in high-impact and industrial environments.

Features

  • Molded from a gray glass reinforced polyester. Smooth finish.
  • Includes gasketed lid with two-piece tongue and groove construction.
  • Heavy-duty thick wall design.
  • North American Mark of Safety – C UL & UL listed. Industrial Control Panel Enclosure Certified to NEMA 4, 4X standards (UL 508A) – File #E65324 and IP66 Rated.
  • Impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.
  • Lid contains self-captivated stainless steel screws.
  • Gasket material is EPDM sponge rubber with temperature rating of -40 degrees C to +120 degrees C (-40 degrees F to +248 degrees F).
